Controllable release of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) by wheel spinning alginate/silk fibroin fibers for wound healing

چکیده
The acute wound healing process requires a quick and short-stage vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) supply, especially, in the early-stage of injury. To date, research has rarely met demand for controlled VEGF release. Herein, novel wheel spinning technique was introduced to fabricate alginate (Alg)/silk fibroin (SF) composite fiber loading achieving controllable In turn, it demonstrated that parameter Alg/SF material morphological combination significantly influence release behavior degradation speed, which could be by adjusting solution concentration modifying SF morphology. structural features interacted with each other affect behavior, indicating factors such as released fashion. It therefore developed approach control process.

MiR-103 regulates the angiogenesis of ischemic stroke rats by targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)
Objective(s): To investigate the effect of miR-103 on the angiogenesis of ischemic stroke rats via targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) at the molecular level. Materials and Methods: Rat models had received the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) or sham operation before grouping, and cell models of oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) were performed. FITC-dextran, matrigel, and ...
متن کاملThe role of vascular endothelial growth factor in wound healing.
Revascularization of damaged tissue is a necessary part of wound healing. With unregulated or insufficient vessel growth, healing is delayed or pathological. Angiogenesis is regulated by expression of a variety of vascular growth factors and modulators, the most widely expressed and critical of which is vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This protein is secreted by tissues in response t...
متن کاملExpression of vascular permeability factor (vascular endothelial growth factor) by epidermal keratinocytes during wound healing
Persistent microvascular hyperpermeability to plasma proteins even after the cessation of injury is a characteristic but poorly understood feature of normal wound healing. It results in extravasation of fibrinogen that clots to form fibrin, which serves as a provisional matrix and promotes angiogenesis and scar formation. We present evidence indicating that vascular permeability factor (VPF; al...
متن کاملCurcumol Promotes Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF)-Mediated Diabetic Wound Healing in Streptozotocin-Induced Hyperglycemic Rats
BACKGROUND Wound healing in chronic diabetic mellitus is mainly associated with the management of angiogenesis. The angiogenic mechanism of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) has been widely studied in the context of diabetic ulcers. The aim of this study was to investigate the wound-healing potential of curcumol in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. MATERIAL AND METHODS Sixty male SD...
متن کاملCopper-induced vascular endothelial growth factor expression and wound healing.
Angiogenesis plays a central role in wound healing. Among many known growth factors, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is believed to be the most prevalent, efficacious, and long-term signal that is known to stimulate angiogenesis in wounds. Whereas a direct role of copper to facilitate angiogenesis has been evident two decades ago, the specific targets of copper action remained unclear...
